Whoops! I sort of forgot to post anything last month… What can I say? I’ve been busy. I mean between a trip to Las Vegas (night time pic of The Paris at right), my brother’s graduation, learning to scuba dive, and a million other things, there wasn’t much time left over for writing. But, I’m back! Here’s a quick update…

It’s been a busy few weeks lately. Yesterday, I finished my PADI Open Water Diver certification. That’s for SCUBA diving (in case you’re not familiar with PADI’s terms). It’s the first certification you get, and I’m now qualified to dive down to 60 feet. My friend Joe and I plan to take a bunch more courses so that we can get really good at diving.

I also took a trip to Las Vegas! I went with Ben and Joe, and met Jordan (dude that went to school with Ben and Joe) there. It was a fun vacation, although I can’t say that I won any money at the tables. I did score front row tickets to the David Copperfield show, which was pretty amazing. At one point a car appeared on stage above audience member participants’ heads, while the entire stage had been surrounded with other people from the audience. Very impressive. We also played golf, and I would have had the best game of my life if it weren’t for the fact that I couldn’t put to save my life. I’m not sure I had any less than 4 putts per hole!!!

And of course, two weekends ago was my brother Danny’s graduation! He’s finally done with high school, which seems really odd, because he’s always seemd much older to me. Danny’s going to Augustana College next year. I’m sure he’s going to love it!

So… Whew! Lots of stuff to report on. Now that I’m caught up, I’ll try to post more often. It’s a sunny day, and of course I need to get to work sometime today, so that’s it for now.
